This app utilizes the built-in barometric pressure sensor found in newer models of iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches, released after 2016. Some older models of these devices do not support this sensor. Please refer to the list at the bottom to see which devices are not compatible.

By monitoring the barometric pressure and leveraging GPS (optional) and the new barometric pressure sensor, this app calculates accurate barometric pressure for weather forecasts. With its built-in sensor, it works independently of internet connectivity. The user-friendly marker aids in tracking changes in barometric pressure and predicting weather patterns. It's important to note that a single barometric pressure reading is not sufficient for determining current weather conditions; however, monitoring the pressure and its changes over time serves as a reliable indicator for weather variations.

Moreover, this app offers graph charts that display measurements taken over the past 30 days, allowing users to visualize the trend in barometric pressure (6h, 12h, 24h, 3d, 7d, 14d, 30d).

The altimeter feature assists users in monitoring altitude changes based on pressure fluctuations. Simply set your reference pressure and altitude to accurately measure elevation during activities such as mountain climbing (it also works for other outdoor pursuits). This feature does not rely on GPS.

Please be aware that this app cannot read barometric pressure values or provide useful information on older devices such as the 4S, 5, 5S, and 5C, as well as any iPod Touch and iPad models predating iPad Air 2 or iPad Mini 4. It is also incompatible with Apple Watch Series 1 and 2. However, the new SE (2020) is supported.
